This is my favorite genre of photography in which the street or particular area of the city or other place provides the set on which the lives of ordinary people who live and work there are carried out on a day to day basis.
A selection of colorful images of places and objects which are uniquely American. In several cases, they reflect my love for colorful signage.
A collection of colorful and sometimes abstract imagery which caught my eye in various places I visited. Several reflection images are also in this grouping.
One of a kind places that I have visited and photographed.
Candid photography portraits taken in the United States and various other countries.
Black and White prints in the tradition of classic black and white American and European photography.
Much of this work is from New York and includes views of the city which reflect the cityscape and history of the various areas and architecture where the photos were taken.
Landscape photography from New Zealand, Peru, Vietnam, Cambodia, Norway, South Africa and elsewhere, some of the most beautiful and interesting places on earth.
Facades of buildings and windows I have photographed in France, Cuba, and elsewhere reflecting how once vibrant colors have stood the test of time.
The interiors of houses and public spaces which reflect the local decor and flavor of the cultures in which they exist.
An assortment of places and objects photographed to suggest how the ordinary can become extraordinary.
Most of these photos were taken at game reserves on separate trips to South Africa. They include the so-called Big Five of the African Animals. There are also additional wildlife shots from other trips.
